I was referred to Texas Oncology to see a Hematologist the end of Feb. Despite multiple attempts by myself and my mother, I have not yet received a call back to schedule an appointment. This is extremely disheartening. If I have a blood disorder, I have lost 2 months of treatment due to inefficient and uncaring clerical/administrative staff at the Deke Slayton branch. Specifically, Joyce & Bobby new patient coordinator. The utter lack of sense of urgency by a cancer treatment center is appalling.
Dr. Voloyiannis was great, he communicated with Me throughout the procedure process. Took time to explain his concerns before my mom’s surgery and made me feel very comfortable during the whole process. A pioneer in the medical field using robotic techniques which I was very impressed with. Highly recommend this surgeon.
