This place is a disaster. After completing all required paperwork and following the colonoscopy prep exactly as instructed, we arrived—only to find out my husband wasn’t even on the schedule. On top of that, the surgical center was out of network, something they never disclosed. We were blindsided and forced to pay out of pocket for his procedure. Doctor is awesome but front staff is absolutely useless. 1st surgery: was told recovery was 2 days, ended up being close to 3 weeks. Felt like may be they missed the surgery part only counted recovery for colonoscopy. Gave them benefit of doubt. 2nd surgery: first surgery didn't heal right so I had to go for second one. Completely ridiculous that you have to have a consultation to get a standard colonoscopy. $90!!!!! And a waste of my time.
I’ve been a patient of Dr. Geisler’s for 2 years. In 2019, she performed an emergency surgery which saved my life. I had another procedure done last week, and I’m always reminded of her skill and professionalism. She’s an exemplary MD/surgeon, and I’m very thankful to have access to her practice. A woman named Shelly who works in the Richardson office has consistently gone above and beyond for me; she helped to get me an appointment when I was in dire need of some relief - she has been a life saver.
