This hospital dont deserve my star but we have to leave one. I had been awake for only four hours before I was scheduled to work an overnight shift when I received the worst phone call a parent can get: my daughter had been rushed to the emergency room after fainting, with an elevated heart rate and high blood pressure. I immediately drove three hours to be with her. Having just gotten off work that morning and then making that drive while exhausted was dangerous in itself. Around 2am today: front desk at the er is very unwelcoming, very unhelpful, very dry is responses (little to none) there’s LITERALLY no one at in the waiting area, (I understand there’s people probably in the back er but as for the front desk they don’t seem busy) they seem bothered by our presence. It feels as cliche as interrupting a popular high school clique.
