So far, physician interaction is fine, diabetic educator was wonderful. But phone-in clinical staff? Just wow. Following an appointment on Dec 18, we received all supplies needed except for our daughter’s Dexcom sensors. So I called back on 12/27 to ensure our Dexcom sensor RX could be filled after the staff confirmed they sent it to be signed off on. Today, 1/4 I called back because our last sensor expires in 2 days. I was told over the phone by the sleepy clinical staff that “Dexcom isn’t an emergency since the patient has... read more

We were referred to TX Children's and saw Dr. K. I've no doubt she is knowledgeable in her field. However, her bedside manner is not good. She is nice, but the communication is lacking. There is very little information flow. Follow-up from TX Children's is basically limited to their digital platform. We have been in twice, and have yet to be contacted by a human re: test results or next steps. Staff at TX Children's Endocrinology are polite, but we've never felt like more than a number to them. My baby is with fever102.9 and she has being vomiting and her fever has not lower yet and She is with antibiotics already but they are no working on her and the nurses they go by acurity so they said my baby is not a emergency she has veinf sick for 3 weeks and they have me waiting for over 3 hours
