No care was provided to my child by TCH. I had to leave work to get my son to what I thought was a good children’s hospital. Being a former employee of TCH, I was severely disappointed at how we were treated by the Emergency Department Staff. Unfortunately, TCH is no longer the best children’s hospital in Texas, much less the country. Avoid this facility, they might as well be an HCA hospital because of their lack of professionalism, their horrendous triaging methods, and the preferential treatment occurring based on race. Bryan so so amazing !! He was playing with my 22 months old son , because my son was crying ! Bryan was checking him and showing him toys ! That is how you know you are in the best country on earth ! The doctor she was absolutely kind ! She knows what she is doing !! All staffs are nice ! Dont pay attention to bad reviews ! To me its not true ! Its an emergecy place of course its going to be a little crowded !! But im happy with what i saw !!
DO NOT BRING YOUR CHILDREN HERE. I made the mistake of ignoring the negative reviews. I told myself, "How can these horrible reviews be true? It’s in the Houston Medical Center, and TCH is a recognized hospital." I brought my daughter to Texas Children's Hospital because she was still experiencing symptoms shortly after being discharged from another emergency room. Very unprofessional and aggressive the X-ray team in the ER in the 18th floor! Went to take my sibling for his toes and he ended up getting his leg and foot slammed & twisted aggressively by the tech and the whole X-ray team were ignorant and rude! Tech was using aggressive force towards my sibling’s leg & my arm while helping my sibling get X-ray!
