Brought my 9 month old in for high fever and waited over 4 hours which is understandable what's not understandable is them giving my baby a covid test him coming out positive and they discharged us but never told me he had covid they just gave him Tylenol and Motrin for the fever it calmed it down which is good and they told me to continue giving it to him but take turns every 4 hours and they just said we will send everything to you in my chart so I do not recommend this er but it was the only one available because the othe... read more

Tell me they don't really care about their patients without telling me they don't really care about their patients. Texas Children's was our only option being that the smaller emergency rooms in my area recommended it do to having specialist that would be able to see my 2 year old being midnight. Arrived almost at 1am. They were quick to send us for registration and to collect our deductible but then sat us in the lobby for 3 hours to be later sent to a room for another hour. Was told I had to wait up to 9hrs to be seen, I was already for there 5 hrs and those nurses don’t care. First they say if her symptoms worse come and let us know. When I did they one of them said “yes those the symptoms that come with it!” It’s ridiculous NO COMPASSION for the kids that are in pain or running a high fever.
