BEWARE. BEWARE. BEWARE. HIRE AT YOUR OWN RISK. Unfortunately we hired TJ Reilly with Texas Best General Contracting in July 2021 to do a complete remodel and addition of our new home. This was a grave mistake. He claimed that the home would be done in 6 months and we entrusted him with the work while we were living out of state preparing to move. EDIT to my review: the owners commented that I have never contacted their business which is true, but I did see the absolute disaster they left my friends home after they wrongfully terminated their contract. Which took them almost two years to recover from. My intentions for posting this review were to warn others of the destruction this company causes families, in hopes no one ever has to go through what they put them through. Their reviews of this company are also on here warning people of the same. Do NOT trust the good ... read more

TJ Reilly is a fraud and a liar. Despite email confirmations from the city, TJ continued to lead us believe he submitted everything for permit approval. He never received the required stamps from engineering, electrical, plumbing firms so the plans were NEVER going to get approved as he sent them in. When questioned, he continued to lie. We gave him money to start the project(shame on us) and then once we cancelled the project, no money was ever repaid back for services/materials/jobs/etc. that were never done. Please beware of this business and its practices before hiring. TJ, Thomas Reilly it would seem by my interactions during this time, is not driven by high standards and a passion for excellence. Texas Best General Contracting does not strive to provide superb service to and quality to his clients. He was hired by my kids to do a remodel and an addition as well as (later, without a contract ) to construct a mother in law cottage for myself. The outcome was poor at best.
