Excellent food, if you can catch them open. Primarily open for the Monday-Friday lunch crowd. I'm not giving any favorites for this place because everything is delicious.
I got the lunch Texas Po-Boy sandwich "Spicy " with the pinto beans I loved the beans they put chunks of meat in them (that's my favorite). Yummy the portion was huge I had to take half home. Very friendly and fast staff. Their card machine went out so lucky we had cash. The BBQ was delicious I wish I would have gotten two sides because the Mac and cheese looked very appealing as well. Parking is hard but we just parked behind and walked over so not impossible. All in all it was worth the drive.
My coming praise is only because consistent you produced the BEST BBQ! In all of AZ. Big John's in Flagstaff will be the only option going forward! You will be missed! I do hope you have a wonderful time in your travels! Prague, Barcelona, Seoul should not be missed!!!
So good! I hope they move closer to my house! I walked into Texas and immediately surrounded by manly men! I got the 8 piece chicken and 1 # beef rib. I will have to go back. I nibbled the chicken on the way home. This and ZZ Top and my red roadster are all a Texas transplant girl requires!
It's a little expensive for the small portions you get. The food taste was great. I didn't care to much for the green beans, to greasy. I got the 1 meat lunch combo, 4 slices of brisket, a side, greasy beans, and a drink. That was around 18. Ordered to extra pieces of chicken...6. Order my 3 bites of banana pudding..4.
