It all comes down to $ & litigation! TAE would rather hire the least skilled/less qualified teenagers than have more proficient/experienced lifeguards. As a member of my own neighborhood’s HOA who have TAE as our pool managerial systems, I can honestly say that TAE is better than other pool services in the Houston area. However, when a 15 year old lifeguard tells a member that if he wants to try a back flip off the side of the pool, ‘I don’t know if you can but if you do it’s on you,’ & the young man ends up missing the pool... read more

HOA boards need to do a better job when selecting an aquatic company. The splash pads over in grand Mission Estates here in Richmond, Texas have been broken majority of the summer. There is no sense of urgency by any of their staff, both locally and at the offices. I do not feel safe using their equipment. Do better.

I would leave zero stars if I could. They are now the lifeguards at the Pearland Silverlake HOA pool. Half the lifeguards have their phones on them while on the lifegaurd stand and are browsing, texting, and making phone calls. They are not attentive to the swimmers. They prop the security door to the pool open and do not check for key cards.
