Do Not Do It. I cut off my electricity in Nov 2019 and they were paid and stopped billing. I sold the house and electricity was disconnected. In July 2020 they send me a bill for the new homeowners. Multiple contacts and promises to fix it and they did not. Today, I received a call from a collection agency trying to collect. I just filed a complaint with the Texas PUC.
I cancelled this energy service effective date 04.09.2020. and started service with another company. I was told multiple times by Texans Energy I wasn’t being charged by multiple electricity companies as it is impossible. however, I’m being charged every 2 weeks for 2 times the amount I am paying with my new provider. They have been double dipping into my account and refused to resolve the issue.
Great service and great people
Very disappointed with there customer service and there price of electricity is very high I wouldn’t recommend this company for your utilities.
