One of my all-time favorite omakase experiences -- from the amazing food to the quality of service and care. I have had dinner here twice -- after my first time, I had to come back. This is the perfect restaurant for a special occasion, or if you're visiting Vancouver want to to experience an amazing Japanese dinner that's in an interesting neighborhood, and just slightly off the beaten path. I will definitely be back here!
Went for a lunchtime omakase set, $110 per person, and also shared a sake tasting flight for $65. Very much enjoyed the variety and flavours, and everything tasted great. The black cod appetizer was flavourful, but maybe not as soft and melt in your mouth as some other black cod I’ve had. The Spanish mackerel was tasty though the skin edge was tougher to chew through. Kids under 10 yrs old ARE NOT ACCEPTED ! Discrimination against children: we just tried to get a table on a quite Wednesday at 17:00 and the restaurant was absolutely empty, we walked in with our 10 and 7 year old kids and were refused access due to the fact that we came with our two children. Very dissapointed and shocked...especially in this neighborhood of acceptance and universal tolerance. WOW.
I had an amazing experience at Tetsu Sushi! The hospitality and attention to detail of the staff is outstanding. And without question, the quality and taste of the food is amazing!
We had the omakase lunch and really enjoyed the experience. The ingredients were fresh and high quality, and every course was thoughtfully prepared. The food was delicious, and the service was excellent—friendly, attentive, and welcoming throughout our meal. Overall, it was a great dining experience, and we'd definitely come back!
