In a word, Tess is AMAZING. Her ability to capture the essence of the sitter, resulting in expressive and revealing portraits, is extraordinary. She works quickly, but you never feel rushed, and the process is always a collaborative one. Tess Steinkolk is a fantastic photographer. Not only did she make the experience fun and relaxing, she also took great care to keep the photos authentic to my style. Working with Tess was so enjoyable and straightforward. She encouraged us to shoot outside given the beautiful light where she worked spontaneously, always aware of what the light was doing. I never felt she was shooting a shot she had repeated over and over, it truly felt tailor-made.
