Convenient stop right on the way in or out of Yosemite. The site has seven stalls, though two were down during our visit (luckily marked out of order on the in-car navigation). Two on-site restrooms are available - nothing fancy, but decent enough. It’s an easy walk to Groveland’s local shops and restaurants, though you'll want to check store hours in advance since many close early. A great spot to top off before heading into the park!

Parking isn't the best. There's very little space for cars to maneuver especially when there's multiple vehicles.

We ended up roadtripping the 4 this way because someone said the chargers here were more reliable and honestly that was the only reason we came through Avery at all. It worked perfectly no waiting around or messing with broken stalls like some other places we have been to this last week. I even had time to walk the dog down the side of the road and stretch my legs before we hit the pass. just a solid no stress stop that got us back on the highway real quick.
