We were road-tripping through California with our four kiddos when our rearview mirror popped off. This morning, I ran into a concerning issue with my Tesla…it wouldn’t go into DRIVE, and several error codes appeared on the screen. I contacted the Tesla Service Center in Riverside and spoke with Ruben, who was incredibly helpful from the very start. He calmly explained the possible issues with my vehicle and let me know it would need to be towed in for service. Thanks to AAA, I had my car at the dealership about an hour and a half later. Had an excellent experience today in the Riverside Tesla service centre. Went in at 8:30 am was greeted by Ruben who was very professional and then I saw George the technician who was very friendly and knowledgable as well. He listened to all what I had to say and then test drove the car. Issue was resolved and I was out by 9:45 am
Extremely disappointing experience with Tesla Roadside Assistance and Customer Service . I specifically requested a Michelin tire, but after making me wait over 3 hours with no updates, they showed up with the wrong brand — and didn’t even tell me until they arrived. Under pressure and with no other options, I agreed to the installation. The technician left without checking anything, and I later found the tire was filled to 51 PSI — way over the recommended pressure and dangerous to drive on.
