When in zion, we decided to keep driving to Bryce on a whim and forgot to do the mileage math. This charger was a savior - we did have to go about 10 min ‘out of our way’ from back to Springdale, but made up the mileage with a medium fast charge. Since it was night time in the winter, lodge and coffee place were closed. The pizza place was short staffed so only serving to-go orders, but we ate our pizza in the car and watched a movie for an hour while charging.
There are 5 ports - 3 purely for TESLA NACS , 2 that fits traditional J1772 plug. I had a Kia Niro EV 2024 rental and suffered terribly for not switching to good old gasoline cars at the airport The 2 ports are good - average 10kwh . Can drop to 5 kWh during cold days. Despite the slow speeds, this place is a savior if you are stuck with EV vehicles. This is the only destination charger between Escalante and Panguitch - almost 70-80 miles.
