Can be a life saver in times of need. There are two level 2 chargers here (Tesla and another J1772 adapter compatible charger) and it's free of cost (yay!)
It gets a 5 star because its in a critical location. I came at 3p, which probably isnt a popular time so I got it without waiting. The hotel at the rim should.have them at least for guests. Would open up the two here for others.
Beware in winter, not always accessible! Went up Christmas week, and since the lodge there was closed they had not plowed the parking lot to the charger, so was not accessible. Luckily we had enough charge to make it back down to Medford or Klamath, but don’t rely on this one in the winter. Charge up fully before heading up, the cold eats a lot of range.
