They’re rental department tried to commit fraud. I scheduled an appointment to repair a dent on my model Y and called ahead of time to ask if they offer rentals at their location. Robert who handles their rentals said yes and asked for my claim number to hold one of their cars for my appointment. I told him my claim had not been approved yet so I can’t rent one out but that I did have a claim number assigned to me through Tesla Insurance. He kept me updated throughout the process, answered all of my questions, and made sure everything was handled smoothly. Kevin’s professionalism, communication, and attention to detail made a stressful situation much easier.
