My wife and I leased a 2026 Model Y AWD and took delivery in Richmond on Sept 29ths just in time to get the federal tax credit. It was a very busy time when we went to pick it up, so they didn't get to really show us how to use any but the most basic features. Yesterday we visited the Charlottesville Tesla location and the staff there were very friendly and helpful. I had a great experience yesterday! Luke was super kind and helpful taking us on the test drive so we could see how the model s drives and also the cybertruck. Hopefully one day I can come back and buy one!
Employees seemed more interested in talking with each other than acknowledging me in their store.
