Please please PLEASE make the owner give you an exact amount of what the repair work would cost. Terry refused to give an exact answer until the job was done. After seeing the itemized list of the bill, I’d strongly advise everyone to go anywhere else. There was a reason he was being so shady about the price. Never would have made an appointment for service work to be done if I’d seen the bill PRIOR. Lesson learned.

I did a rebuild on a 12.7 series 60 Detroit. Very happy with the end result, 2 years later, over 200k miles and runs like a champ. Terry really knows these engines inside and out. Edit 9/16/2024 So as luck would have it, at 216k miles since the rebuild my engine that was rebuilt by Terry blew a head gasket. Of course no warranty, and to do this job was just over $11k (including a water pump).
