I had to ask about a very unpleasant recurring problem (diarrhea) and the doctor really listened and then adjusted my medicines to reduce unwanted side effects. This has worked like a charm!
Dr. Franklin always returns my calls promptly. There is a shortage of physicians in Monterey, where I live. They all seem to be retiring or moving away. The average wait for 'new' patients to see a physician is six months. Having quick access to Dr. Franklin is important.
Dr. Franklin always makes time for me. It does not matter if it is after hours or on the weekends, I know he will call me back in a very timely manner. He makes me feel confident about my health. It is a very good feeling to know he is always there for my husband and I. I appreciate that he does not always prescribe routine medication but will try more healthy plant based alternatives with much less chance for negative side effects. His entire staff is very efficient and friendly.I highly recommend Dr. Franklin.
Dr. Franklin fully guides me on health maintenance, and willingly keeps guiding me, as I misbehave, to a degree. I'm one of theses stubborn guys who seems to refuse to fully quit alcohol, but he lets my sister in on our events, and it happens that she seems to have learned Dr. Franklin's guidance ideas, and she's helping me out!! Dr. Franklin is a very dedicated doctor and handles his patients issue with the utmost professionalism and his staff is the best.
Dr Franklin was great and took the time to answer all of my questions but his staff leave a lot to be desired. I eventually learned that Dr. Franklin is a concierge dr so you have to pay $1500 annually to see him. A staff member said "we don't tell you until you have had 2-3 visits". Also, I scheduled an annual check up but they scheduled a sick visit. PA Janessa told me she didn't have time for me and I couldn't ask about health concerns during an annual and would have to make another appt.
I have known Doctor Franklyn since 2010. He is a physician that cares for the "whole person" and is not in a hurry to prescribe medications for superficial symptoms; he aims to get down to the real root of health problems. When I told him I was feeling melancholic, instead of prescribing anti depressants he asked about my diet and got me on a nutrition plan to combat mood swings. When I felt arm pain, he did an acupuncture treatment on me. I LOVE my doctor. He is the most caring and genuine
Instead of taking care of our son's potentially serious health issue himself, he transferred us to a physician's assistant not once but twice. And the PA was very wrong in his initial diagnosis during the first meeting. Now we're back at square one and not sure if we have an accurate assessment of our son's health. Waste of time and money. Beware -- you might get shuffled around and never really see the "doctor."
It seems that doctor wanted to claim maximum amount of your insurance claim, he arranged you to visit him again every month. Also, he tried to sell you some supplement which is more expensive than other places but he said his stuffs is better. More, he asked to have some laboratory test, but I have to pay a lot out of my pocket, and seems he asked to check some items which may not necessary to me.
