Terri’s is *chefs kiss*. Her specialty cakes are perfect for any birthday party or special occasion. Garnet is not phoning it in. Every bake is made with quality, care, and precision. She also hosts classes and special events. Garnet has been really intentional about making her space a neighborhood resource, hosting all sorts of events from water infrastructure discussions to dance parties. Her bakery is a great venue for baby showers, big family gatherings, and community events.
The location is great and I really like how they used the outside of the building to advertise the business. It is very classy! I also appreciate they have events to bring the community together.
If you crave German chocolate cake like your mom used to make you’ll find it at Terri’s Cakes. The cake is super moist and the icing is just the right texture! Lots of pecans and coconut!
Terry’s cakes was a beautiful experience and a treasure for Detroit, Michigan. My wife and my family enjoyed the various selection of cupcakes, the flavor of the cakes, and the frosting was out of this world. It taste like my mother made it herself. The personal touch and the customer service is amazing. We definitely will be back again. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience. May God richly bless you and keep you.
