I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience. I arrived for my scheduled appointment only to be told that it had been rescheduled without my knowledge or consent. Customer for five years - so far, I've been in good hands with Dr. Reed and once with Dr. Lampa, when Dr. Reed wasn't available. I have a history of retinal detachments so a trusted optometrist is important. As far as ancillary staff, they are usually adequate and occasionally polite and helpful. Don't expect much and you might get pleasantly surprised.

I walked into Silver Falls Eyecare Center late last Friday afternoon with two pairs of VERY crooked eyeglasses and no appointment. The woman there, I believe her name was Sarah, greeted me with a smile and a "No problem!" And not only did she make the crookedness go away, she replaced the uncomfortable nosepads with soft silicone ones -- in mere minutes and at no charge. What great customer service!
