Recently had a business lunch here and the food was unbelievable and the value was also unbelievable. There are so many mediocre restaurants in the loop that you should seriously consider going to this place even if it requires a couple of more blocks walk vs. areas of the loop that have a denser amount of restaurants. The meatball appetizer was the best meatball I have ever tasted and I lived in Italy for 6 months. We just saw this place and decided to walk over and check it out. We live near by and walked in on a Saturday evening without a reservation. Immediately we had great and very attentive service. We sat indoors but they have an outdoor patio, indoors is a great option as they have an open concept. I asked about the Bloody Mary and if the mix was vegetarian and the server made sure before saying yes, which I’d prefer every single time over someone just assuming it is. DELICIOUS! Pizza 6 & 9. Tagliatelle, Sweet Potato Gnocchi, Chicken Parmesan, Brussels sprouts, Paper Plane cocktail. All wonderful ! The FOCACCIA made me say “oh gawd!” So yummy. The tiramisu was delightful. The pistachio gelato had a wonderful spice— maybe nutmeg? Beautiful restaurant & great service, too.
