During my visit to this location, I received assistance from the front desk staff, including Angie, who were courteous and helpful. Unfortunately, my encounter with Melissa was unpleasant. She displayed rudeness towards me and my 7-year-old daughter, who suffered trauma due to security personnel banging on our door because her father was watching the children in the apartment while I worked. They have bed bugs at the Garfield towers n garden. They quit watering the spray down. The carpet all of it needs redone. Soiled,wet,mold n cockroaches. Never again. Had to throw everything away.
Completely disappointed in this business. This business disregards the law if you are not up to their standards. Everyone saw the video. We all know you denied that man on account of your own racist ideologies. This business makes Terre Haute look worse as a whole. Would never take my business here. If I could give a one star I would.
I thought HUD didn't discriminate against peoples race, age and sex. It would appear that some of Terre Haute Housing Authority staff are going against HUDs regulations and discriminatimg against people without legal cause. It would be a shame for you to lose grant funding to assist those in the community needing affordable housing because of your racist practices. Upgrade your customer service techniques and do better serving the community.
