Solo traveler staying on-site and have been relegated to the dark bar for all meals. Repeatedly told I (party of 1) need a reservation, but then immediately after that party of 2 was seated without a reservation. The alternative, patio, “doesn’t do brunch buffet”, but about half hour later I observed many people doing so. We’ve eaten here for years but things have gone dramatically downhill very recently. Both the quality of the food and the service were really poor on our last two visits this March. Unprofessional wait-staff, long waits with no service and cold, overcooked food. Very surprising after years of enjoying high quality there. We wondered if perhaps the restaurant is under new management. And if so, we really hope they get their act together because it’s such a beautiful setting and a lovely place to visit.
We dined here with friends for Valentine's Day!They treated us so well! We had the crispy brussel sprouts for an appetizer (a very large portion!), the Maple Mustard Salmon, the Burger, the Quesadilla (which looked super crispy and delicious) and the Birria Tacos! We were too full for desert. The meals were all cooked to perfection, the salmon was flaky, the burger was super juicy and flavorful, and the Birria tacos, while a little messy, were delicately piled high with explosions of flavor. They had live music.
Come here for the ambience, views and beautiful setting. Food was far better than at the Canyon Ranch this week! We’ll definitely come back!
