Not so tasty. Did not enjoy
I went for breakfast around 9am. I had smashed avocado with poached eggs and added bacon with a hot chocolate. The eggs were overcooked, the toast was cold and hot chocolate was barely warm. I sat outside as inside was busy. Between the builders, road workers and smokers my overall experience was very underwhelming.
Is good. Not the best but staff is nice and food arrived fast. A bit overpriced maybe.
Terrace Deli is one of those establishments that creates a fascinating intellectual paradox. Based purely on the food and coffee, I could quite comfortably award it five stars and call it one of the better cafes I have visited in Melbourne CBD. Unfortunately, a cafe is not merely a laboratory for converting coffee beans into caffeine. Customers are also expected to sit inside it.
