Best Restaurant in Charlotte – This is the best meal and service I have had here in Charlotte. The food was delicious (try the snails!), the service was attentive (thank you!) and the owner was a delight! I will come here again and again and recommend it to everyone I know!
Excellent food and serrvice-my new favorite restaurant – We like to support local restaurants and this has become one of our favorites. Excellent service with just the right amount of attention. These people know good food and how to enjoy it. Terry was an excellent host and made us feel welcome. The braised lamb was exquisite-fall off the bone.
not great not bad not my favorite – Terry the owner was very nice, the atmosphere was more like my grandmas house in Florida and the food?? Nothing seemed like it was described on the menu other than the steak and fries. My wife also had green beans that were burnt but oddly cold and her chicken was sent back and replaced with a similarly tasteless dry chicken. Good wine selection and attentive staff, but I've got another bistro in plaza midwood in mind for my next night out.
great service, disappointing food – My husband and I ate at Terra Restaurant a while ago because we wanted some authentic bistro fare. We go to Paris all the time and are used to good French food. Terry, the owner was very nice as he waited on us and made our drinks. But when we ordered the Pate en Croute and it was simply puff pastry baked over sausage, we were a little scared. Very nice evening. – Really enjoyed my time at Terra. Service was friendly and prompt. Sides served with the meal were a little bland and undercooked, however our entrees were simply fantastic. Tiramisu dessert was well served as well. Entrees were $20-30. Only about 10 tables in the restaurant, one couple wore jeans, another had a formal evening wear on...
C'est OK – I very badly wanted to like Terra. But I can't give it a positive review. I ordered the steak frites, which shouldn't be that hard. I always expect something on the level of Paris' L'Entrecote. Not even close. The fries were pretty good. I'd like to try it again. It wasn't Terr-ific nor was it Terr-ible. Just average.
