We hired Maggie Lee to design our courtyard garden and gave her a $700.00 retainer. She reneged on doing the project due to personal reasons and said she had spent the fee in site visits however there was no deliverable. After insisting we should have something for the investment she offered us some photos of plants and no more than 30 min of her time to discuss a partial area of the courtyard and was quite put out to do so. We found Maggie Lee to be very unprofessional and our investment wasted.
Maggie designed and installed my small courtyard and surrounding gardens five years ago. She was easy to work with and her team completed the installation promptly. She takes special care with the plant selection and has a true knack for sensitive combinations. All have continued to be a source of delight and beauty to myself, guests and casual visitors alike. And…her Biodynamic compost which we apply each year, has allowed the garden to really flourish! —Sue Chiado
