We really enjoyed our stay here. The host Sophie was very helpful and nice. The cottages are cozy and clean. Nice and quiet. Sophie's daughter even watched our dog while we went out for dinner. Just a really great experience.
I can't say enough about our stay. The cottage was simple but very homey and clean. The chocolates on the dressers were such a nice touch. The owners were the best and even helped point out a couple beaches I probably would have missed without them. There is no wifi but that was clearly stated and it was great to unplug a bit. There was a grill and fire pit available as well as cleaning materials to tidy up before checking out. I CAN'T WAIT TO BE BACK UP NORTH!!! PS. Our stay at Terra Cottages has been wonderful and owners Sophie and Jean-Rene have taken care of every thought ful detail. Even have a misting spray for sheets and pillows to induce a restful sleep. I would highly recommend our cottage # 3 for a comfortable stay. Right across from the water and quiet and relaxed as it could be.
Great getaway for the week. We brought our 8-month old puppy with us and had a great time at the cottages. They're very well appointed, set far enough apart that you get privacy, and they're very cute. It was wonderful being further up on the peninsula away from the crazier/busier towns further south, and the drive down to Sister Bay is only ~15-20 minutes through beautiful countryside. Looking forward to staying again next year!
