Dr. Byrd is honest and direct. She doesn't dance around like other doctors. During my pregnancy I had a lot of questions and concerns about the baby's growth as I am a bariatric patient. She doesn't hold hands but she does give you firm answers. During my delivery she wasn't there, but I wish she was. I felt like the hospital staff rushed me and caused my emergency c-section.
This is by far my best doctor and I have a few. I have been seeing Dr. Bryd for 7 years and appreciate her bedside manner. Many of friends also come to her and she has delivered their children. She offers the facts and has been more than willing to allow me to decide based on the various treatment options she has presented for painful periods over the years. Keep being you!

I also would give 0 stars. We had multiple visits during my pregnancy where she promised that during my scheduled c-section she would tighten my abdominal muscles which weren’t badly out of place to begin with. I lost 40lbs during my pregnancy, but the baby was growing beautifully. Her exact words was girl trust me I got you. I have had 3 c-sections previously from awesome; skilled doctors and my stomach looked amazingly afterwards- not at all the case with Dr. Byrd my stomach looked like a actual fat shelf when finished.
