Had great experience with this Dr.
My initial experience with Dr Pianta was positive. She was able to diagnose my issue quickly, she even found another problem I was not aware of. However after surgery I expressed my concern as I was still having quite a bit of pain. After 3 months post surgery I returned to Dr Pianta and requested follow up care. I suggested doing another MRI to look at the area. I was told by the Dr there was no reason for it and to just give it more time. I was uncomfortable with that answer so I went for a second opinion. Terrible horrifying experience.
I have been dealing with Dupuytrens Contracture for the better part of 5 years. A local doctor wanted to do surgery. A local friend and patient of Dr. Pianta's suggested I get a second opinion. Very glad I did. I was told I would be a good candidate for Xiaflex injection. I opted for that and it has been a year since the procedure and while my finger is not perfectly straight it sure is close! She and the PT upstairs are awesome. I highly recommend!
