This is a cautionary tale to others. I always saw Terry Halpin while I was a patient of Dr. Gendelman/Dr. Popa for 10 years. I never met either doctor. The staff always scheduled me with Terry. Terry missed my thyroid cancer diagnosis FOR 7 YEARS. She kept sending me for ultrasounds of my thyroid when she should have had a biopsy done. I had stage 4 thyroid cancer by the time I sought another opinion. She's no substitute for a doctor. I fault the doctors just as much as I fault her.
Teri was the greatest! I never had such wonderful healthcare.
Teresa is much more than a healthcare provider... since I was a teen, she has been a champion in my corner. She doesn’t stop caring when she leaves the office- she has looked into and further studied problems I’ve had... she doesn’t tow the line when referring specialists... she sends you to the best... even if they are outside the “group”. I’ve had other doctors as I’ve moved and returned from out of state... she may not have the MD after her name... but she will blow 99% of MD’s out of the water.
