It used to be a campground. Now just boat dock. Too bad, it was a nice place to camp.
An okay wild-ish lake for paddling on. The old campground is no more although since it's just USFS land now you can camp there anyway. Just be ready to serve yourself since there are no outhouses, water, etc. The boat launch is still there though so that's a plus at least!

A former USFS campground is just beyond the boat landing. Entrances and site spurs have not been bermed or gated, so you can still drive in and camp in the old campsites, no fees required. A large paved area remains at the end of the road beyond the campground that was once a beach or picnic area. The concrete base of an old hand pump well is about all that's left of it, but it is still a good swimming or camping spot. No amenities remain in the former campground or picnic areas, so plan your trip accordingly.
