I went there to the ER for chest pain and in a hypertensive crisis.Once they had their IV lines and labs drawn they left me alone the entire time and refuse to give me something for the chest pain because the doctor said I was "drug seeking" because my BP was down. I had been using nitroglycerin prior to my arrival. I also had cancedr before and I was afraid it was back.I was denied any meds so I left and went home and take my pain meds from my cancer surgerys from a while back.Before I left they threatened to refuse to let ... read more
I was admitted to this Medical Center on 10/16/13, with MRSA and released on 10/19/13. The staff was wonderful. I couldn't have gotten any better care. The food was not that bad. The only complains I have is with the TV, not enough channels. GJH Knoxville
Everybody was great but the P.A was not very nice or friendly. The Er. Ladies were great and the X-ray techs were great.
One of The worst hospitals I have been to! Very poor patient care, poor food from their "cafeteria ", volunteers working their that Can't listen! !
my husband was sent there by his dr. to be admitted with a white blood count of 30,000. the "doctor" could not find out what the problem, so thinking we were being admitted i came home to get some things. on my way back his daughter called me. they were doing a spinal tap. i knew what they were looking for but he did not need this done. he had leukemia that they didnt look for. then he was allowed to walk from his room to the car 1 hour after the spinal, HELLO you need to lay flat for so long after so he had a headache for a... read more

my husband was a patient there for a week in the psych ward. he was mostly ignored by the nurses, who did not even know his name. he did not eat and no one encouraged him to eat. he was finally given an m.r.I. and was found to have had a stroke.it took days to get him released. the family is not happy.
