Penny Welker is an amazing doctor but the billing for this place is absolutely ridiculous. If someone does not have insurance, how can you bill them $240 for a follow up visit ? I have worked with the doctor and the billing department to drop this bill and both have been helpful. As far as the service, I would give all of the stars but the cost is terrible.
I would like to brag on Newport medical ER nurses. My husband has been in the Er department for 4 days due to lack of beds in the hospital. The nurses that have cared for him have been just Amazing. We are so greatful for the Genuine Care that LESLIE ( the guy), ASHLEY, MARK, AND SUE, have given him. And Ms. Veronica came to check on us and she is just the sweetest, too. We truly appreciate all you guys do. And will remember you in our prayers. Thank you Daryl and Sheba Davis
