This Company is absolutely awful. There was damage to my home(flooding) from poor workmanship on their part (confirmed by their technician). I was told by the service manager they filed an insurance claim and that I would needed to also file a claim with my insurance company so the two insurance companies could work things out I agreed. When I requested a copy of services provided by them such as maintenance and service calls, since my system was installed wrong to begin with I was given the run around and told I would get t... read more

Also as others reported the scam of an important parcel 2nd notice I just knew better for I keep up with my shipments. Did have to waste my time verifying that YES A SCAM IN PROGRESS! THIS SHOULD BE UNACCEPTABLE

Business response:

Our advertisement is not a scam. Others may have listed it as a scam and have later realized that we are a very reputable business, after contacting us. We have been in business in East Tennessee for over 30 years and have serviced over 20,000 customers. Unfortunately, the majority of those that have posted our advertisement as a scam have later called to make an appointment and have received their parcel. The first notice is provided by a canvasser that will knock on your door. If you are not available at that time, we will... read more

Company sent postcard with a brief survey promising $25 gift card. Then they call and require that you get a water test! Rip off company!

Received an unsolicited piece of junk mail, claiming to have a parcel for me. Stamped with "2nd Notice", I'm sure their 1st notices just keep getting lost in the mail. Very suspicious company.

Business response:

Hello! We are Tennessee Water Technology! It is not our intent to mislead you. We have been in business in East TN for over 30 years and have 20,000, plus customers. The solicitation has our company name and address listed. Our first notices are provided by our canvassers. You either were not home or didn't answer your door on the first attempt to contact you. We were simply being hospitable and providing the same opportunity to you as we have to all of our customers for over 30 years. This opportunity is still available to ... read more

Received an unsolicited "urgent" request in the mail to call TWT regarding a "parcel for you." Said "second notice" on the card, obviously to increase the false urgency. Looked TWT up online and found out they sell water purification equipment that I neither requested nor want. Junk mail made out to look like urgent business. Waste of my time. Hope this poor rating helps someone else avoid wasting their time as well.

Received an unknown letter from this 'company' in the mail telling me to call them because they have a parcel waiting for me. Looks like a scam, sounds like a scam, probably is a scam. Must be pretty desperate for business when they don't even advertise their company name in their own letter. Scammers.

Business response:

Unfortunately, we have not had the opportunity to schedule a meeting or speak with Ms.*****. We do have a parcel for her and if she chooses to contact us, per the notification she received, we will be happy to schedule an appointment, at her convenience, to bring it to her home. We have a A+ BBB rating and this is by no means a scam. Please call us, using the telephone number on the notice. Per my conversation with Mike *******at the BBB we will immediately update the mailer to be more transparent going forward, with our com... read more
