Very rude receptionist. I handed her my pre visit paperwork, insurance cards and ID. A few minutes later she called me back to the window and told me my supplement was showing inactive and handed me back the card. I called the number on the back of the card and my insurance is active and has been since 9/23. When I explained to the receptionist that it was active, she said “You will have to take that up with the hospital billing department”. I said “Oh wow! I am leaving and will find another doctor” and I left. Very discoura... read more

I don’t appreciate how they treat elderly and their caregivers. My grandmother is 81 yrs old with dementia. She struggles with changes & traveling is too much for her now. The NP told me & my mom that the *only* place available is St Thomas Ascension in Nashville. That is a THREE hour drive. Edit: (Later diagnosis (elsewhere) of PVC heart palpitations, tachycardia, and high BP, prove this cardiologist just outright ignored my tests. Couldn't recommend this doctor any less) Dismissive of my symptoms from the start, didn't even tell me to keep notes while wearing my holter monitor, couldn't have known what my heart was doing while resting vs not, ultimately wasted my time and didn't seem to care. The nurses were good though.

VERY unhappy with Dr.Brown. I've been waiting for over 5 months for test to be scheduled and still no word. Calling doesn't help either. I understand things are moving a little slower now but definitely not this slow. I'm sure he's a good cardiologist but my experience has been really bad. I definitely will be finding a different cardiologist.

Dr. Brown and his staff helped me with my anxiety over a recent finding of a heart issue. He was very knowledgeable and kind.
