Review: I was hoping that I could recieve care and give birth at Tender Gifts, it was my top choice, my ideal birth plan. 2 of my friends had recieved care at Tender Gifts and they highly reccomended I go to Tender Gifts. I love the people who cared for me, the welcoming feeling, it became home - my family during and after the pregnancy and birth journey. My experience with Tender Gifts was amazing. From the beginning through the end, I felt supported and received a high level of care and education. My midwives and doulas were my solid ground and voice of reason through a difficult and traumatic birth, and I’m so grateful I had them, even staying and supporting me through my unexpected c-section, and post natal period. I cannot recommend them highly enough!
We love Althea and Tender Gifts. We were blessed to have a home birth for my oldest and a birth center birth for my youngest. Both births were so special to us. After my first, I was diagnosed with multiple conditions and told I might not be able to have another child. The Tender Gifts team was incredibly knowledgeable and supportive through that uncertainty. ***update— I have been informed a baby has DIED under their care due to negligence and lack of emergency training. DO NOT COME HERE They lack emergency training which should be a MUST when trusting somewhere for the BIRTH of your child. Do NOT recommend! This place is waiting for an “accident” to happen. They do not go above and beyond when it comes to mothers and baby’s health, they cut corners
