Love the variety of teas We have bought several kinds of te from here. Love the jasmine pearl tea. The server is nice. But no place to sit and enjoy your drink. Usually we take it to go.
Specialty Tea shop with good selection of Chinese Tea Ten Ren has a good selection of Chinese teas, ranging from the traditional jasmine, oolong, pu-er teas, to the more exotic green tea with dried rose. Prices are reasonable, and the staff is friendly and helpful. If you buy a reasonable amount of specialty tea, you can ask the staff to prepare tea in a chinese tea ceremony for you to sample and enjoy the tea. Best Tea I think this place has the best tea selection. Besides selling tea, it also serves drinks. I recommend their milk tea. It's a lot better to the other tapioco pearl drink chains. But I think this is for the hard-core tea drinkers though.
good place for tea If you are interested in tea, you should go to Ten Ren and as them about the tea they keep in big jars behind the counter. They probably have about 30-50 different types of tea. You can take a look at them and see what they smell like. The good stuff could be over a hundred dollars per pound. They also have lots of pre-packaged tea. And like any smart chinese tea store, they sell pearl tea. If you compare their pearl tea to that of Fantasia, i would say their tea is not as sweet and a little bit more like ... read more
Lots of selection I started buying pearl tea at this shop and then found out about their loose tea. Now I can't buy tea bags anymore. Their pearl tea is pretty good, but I like Fantasia better. I think Ten Ren's has a stronger tea flavor. Anyways, for loose tea the pearl jasmine tea is great. But it's pretty expensive ($100/lb). It's fun to ask about the different teas and buy a different one each time.
