Nice elegant atmosphere. I am partial to the rack of lamb and the lobster risotto. Great wine list too!
Nice place to enjoy wine... I think of Ten Mercer as a great place to sit and enjoy a nice bottle of wine with someone. The ambiance is really elegance and calming, and there's normally some jazz playing. The prices are what you would expect, but no great deal so you should only go if you are looking for the kind of experience I've described.
Re: Fun Night Out The night we went to this place, it was fairly empty but later in the evening. The food was very good. I had a burger with blue cheese and it was a great choice (I debated over a few options). My girlfriend loved her Lobster Risotto. A good choice for a night out with the girls...good food, cocktails, and decent service.
good laid back nightspot, but below average restaurant the cocktails were great surrounding a business setting. however, the food was, uh, ....alright. i would only go back to this restaurant for the drinks and, oooo, i almost forgot about the exquisite, exclusive champagnes and wines offered at this place.
