Very intimate little place. Food is all pretty fresh and tasty, salmon teriyaki was a tad dry. Pretty good value too
45 minutes for a Hamachi nigiri and Miso soup leaves service a little to be desired for. But as the only true Japanese restaurant in Gilroy, it will do. Will try again, it may have been an off night.
Phenomenal! Everything was super fresh and well made. Nothing felt redundant or like it tasted like some other roll somewhere else. Not too many places this far from the shore line can you find scallops and uni that fresh! The ambiance was really qwant and cozy. Music was really well curated.
This place is HORRIBLE. If I could give zero stars I would. Very disappointed with my experience. I placed a takeout order and was told it would be ready in 20 minutes. After waiting 50 minutes, I was then told they still needed another 15 minutes just to make the sushi rolls. The lack of communication and inaccurate wait time was extremely frustrating.
