Adds a Dimension to Dining in C- ville – Ten would not last long in Japan, but it is a good addition to the Charlottesville. Also doesn't compare to restaurants such as Nobu, but it's close by. The lobster tempura is outstanding, sushi is acceptable. Give it a try.
A Disappointment – There are some good things about this restaurant. For one thing, if you really know sushi... the rice here is very good, and the fish is fresh and there is a decent selection. The problem is, they serve those enormous American-style slabs of sushi with giant rice mounds underneath. Maybe they think Americans perceive this as providing a great value -- but the fact is, the size of these pieces ruins the whole deal.
