Lovely service last night. Was very moved by the cantor's singing!!
Excellent staff, beautiful service, I felt at home. I love the religious songs sang by the Cantor Mary, Great prayers by the new Rabbi, I miss Rabbi Judy. Everything excellent however with so much racism and anti-Semitism happening recently in Charlottesville, I honestly would have expected more security at the temple. I was just a bit concerned , very sad to think about your own safety when attending services at the Temple, times have really changed.
Beautiful place of worship. Rabbi Knight is great as is Cantor Mary.
Clergy are excellent and the ambiance is friendly and welcoming to a beautiful rainbow of people. Rabbis and cantors are professionally superior, wise, kind, and act as fine educators, among the best teacher's of adults that I have known. Religious school is superior as is youth program. I have been bothered by multiple instances of professional staff acting as if they were the chairs of lay committees and making decisions rather than motivating lay leaders to action.
