Locally owned and managed, Temper is a rare find. The owner has managed to deliver world class food and chocolate, in a cafe that feels West coast upscale, but at the same time warm and welcoming. It's a truly remarkable achievement. The owner and staff are all local and it's obvious they care deeply about what they deliver.

The almond croissant was really delicious, but I was disappointed with the tea and the lemon tart. I ordered an Earl Grey, but it had a strong creamy aroma, so at first I thought I had been given a different tea by mistake. When I asked, I was told that it was actually a Cream Earl Grey. I wish this had been clearly stated on the menu, as I was expecting a traditional Earl Grey when I ordered it. The lemon tart was also a little disappointing. Love how friendly and welcoming the staff are! They don’t rush you at all, and they have some really unique drinks that brought back memories of Manila. The calamansi drink especially gave me major Philippines vibes from my trip there last year! The lovely lady at the counter even let me sample a little of the mango drink, and I was instantly sold.
