I waited three months to get this appointment. I was so disappointed when I was seen by this man instead of the doctor I had requested when I made the appointment. All he said was that because I was 65 and had osteoporosis, he couldn’t do anything for me. I wanted to talk about another part of my spine, but he rushed out. I don’t think he spent 5 minutes with me. I was in shock and now I’m incredibly depressed. I felt like his message was that I should go off and die.

This is the first time I have been pain free in 4 years. Dr Daniel Friedlich did spinal surgery and fixed the problems. I am a very very grateful woman. He gave me my life back. Thank you.

The best neurosurgeon that you could ever meet. Usually people that complain about him didn’t hear what they want to hear. He’s a conservative surgeon and very precise. If you talk non-sense he will ignore you. He takes his job seriously and will not sugarcoat anything. He has the biggest heart and cares about his patients that take him seriously and respect him. This man doesn’t mind not sleeping to save many patients lives. He is a blessing to all the patients he come across with. Thank you for what you do day in day out.

I had terrible experience with Daniel Friedlich, He has major ego and was difficult to speak with and would constantly cut me off. I never verbally abused him as he claims or directed insults at this man and out frustration he removed me as a patient. Towards end of my last conversation with him he verbally abused me and used my medical condition to scare me. You would think someone with 21 years in field could conduct themselves in a professional manner. I wouldn't recommend anyone use him as he will leave you out to dry. D... read more

He is not someone I would trust to do surgery as no communication other than his self interest was spoke. Didn't even talk recovery time much less long term out look. In my case showed no interest in getting me back to work but very much wasn't going to weigh in on a disability claim, which is a undetermined outcome. Probably great for the over 65 in age folks not so much for younger working adults who wear a blue collar as he feels we shouldn't be in his presence based on his body language alone.Does not take PhD to know wor... read more

There are not enough words to express my thankfulness to Dr.Friedlich. I came to see him for a second opinion. I had a really complex spinal malformation that was unfortunately made more complicated by a previous procedure performed by another provider. He reviewed my MRI and basically gave me the "bad" news that my issue was much more serious and believed that a different and more complex surgery would be required. I feel like I owe him my life. I am a nurse and the main provider for my family. I believe that had I not foll... read more

Dr. Fredlich was the surgeon who removed my mother’s brain tumor. The other neurosurgeons said he’s the best at removing very large tumors and has the same, if not more, experience than the eldest of the surgeons. He’s very methodological, precise, and accurate. He doesn’t sugar coat or give false hope and will give the patient the answers they are asking. He worked on my mother for over 6-hours and told us everything that could happen and what to expect after the surgery. Afterwards, he’s a super compassionate doctor. He te... read more

Dr. Friedlich did a surgery on my neck last November 14, 2018 at Loma Linda University Medical Hospital and I consider it the greatest and best Thanksgiving gift in my 76 years. He is very professional in his job. He treats his patient with courteousness and respect.
