First time canoe camping. We wanted an adventure to visit the Temagami Lakes region and we booked a trip with Temagami outfitters and were very impressed with the route selection, guidance, gear, and food. We literally showed up with clothes and toiletries and they took care of the rest… Erik and staff took great care of us and were friendly, patient and accommodating. Went and rented a ice bungalow for the weekend. Nice shack .clean with good heat..Nice people to deal with. 3 days of fishing and no fish..there were 12 guys in 4 bungalows.. I beleave 1 small walleye and 2 small Ling and 5 lake trout under 12" fishing was poor to say the least..I would not return for walleye fishing threw the ice..Maybe in the summer. To bad we didn't get on some fish..if we had of my review would have been much better. Thanks to the host they were great but we went to catch fish.
