Erik was super helpful - we rented almost everything as this was our first time canoecamping so we didnt want to invest in good gear until we knew we would like this sort of thing. We had done both separately before. The items we rented were great and made camping a piece of cake. The area is beautiful and we had an amazing time. The portages for Lady Evelyn River waterfalls were a challenge but we did it and we cant wait to come back! Were hooked now!
I have used TOC for three separate trips now in the area. They help with trip planning, making sure you rent the ideal gear for your trip, will transport you to your launch, pick you up, or even help with loading the gear on your vehicle. They are accommodating with changing of plans. They have solid kit that has never let me down. I was super impressed with the weight of their 3-seater canoe. Thanks for the help with the great trips!

Erik and his crew were great! Erik helped me plan my trip (New to Temagami, not canoeing), gave me some good fishing advice (places), and their pick up and drop off was prompt - we called for an early out from Loon Lodge. Kudos to the restaurant onsite too - great smokehouse menu. Really hit the spot after seven days of canoe food and fried fish.
