This place , Tellus , and their Communications department is all in it together. They do not care how you are being serviced and if you are being taken on any purchase you make. Specially residential consumers. Their money is made on agricultural equipment. So the can screw the residential consumer. Don’t bother calling John Deere corporate headquarters either. i have the extended everything warranty, i go in for a faulty alternator. The service dept looks up the part number to see if its covered under the warranty, it says not determined. The parts guy said, we just changed the part number, look up under the old number…the old number says yes, it is covered by the warranty. The service manager told me, because the new number says not determined we are not sure its covered. We can go ahead and do the work, then let you know if it is covered. No sales on Saturday!!
This place was terrible, I wouldn’t bring anything for these guys to work on. I dropped off my riding lawnmower that was under warranty, told them what was wrong with it, ( it wouldn’t start) filled out the paperwork and left it. I had to call them a week later and was told, it’s ready. I went to pick it up, the mechanic said it started for him so they didn’t do anything to it. I tried to start it right in front of him and it wouldn’t start, he looked at it and said it’s a loose wire, I could leave it and he would work on it... read more
