I had a seizure while walking to a trailhead. My family called 911 and I was promptly taken to Telluride Regional Medical Center. Dr. Koelliker and his assistants were knowledgeable , incredibly caring, and friendly. They provided clear reasoning as to why it happened and I left that place feeling very grateful for their care.
My toddler was very sick on our recent trip to Telluride. We were able to get a same day appointment, and see Dr. McBride. He was kind, patient, and extremely thorough in addressing my concerns and the possibilities of what was going on with my daughter. Without his advice and recommendations, we likely would have had to cut our trip short. Absolutely horrible!!! They will not answer calls in billing and will balance bill you and send you to collections. I would recommend literally anywhere but here!!
The people at the hospital were great the billing experience is a mess. Chat AI is absolutely useless, the phone support knows less than the AI and the people that the issue is escalated too wont get in touch with you, they just put an unsatisfying message in a chat. If you are not bleeding while in Telluride go elsewhere or see if you can get a virtual appointment somewhere else, it shouldn't cost a pound of flesh to get a kid some antibiotics for strep. Iva, Jonathan, and Dr. Kolliker are the best. Comforting, reassuring, knowledgeable, professional. Super nice. So, so glad this trio was there to save me, and ease my pain.
