In July of 2026, I made a reservation for 4 and cancelled it 5 minutes later with a text. They replied via text and acknowledged this. The next day they tried to charge me for a no show! I referenced the text thread, and they hung up on me.
Service was not great. First thing out of the waiter's mouth was. "Do you have any questions on the menu?.". Menu is excellent and diverse they're proud of their prices. Lots of guys with sweaters on their shoulders eat here, if you know what I'm saying.
On the occasion of our 39th anniversary we decided it’s been too long and we must give 221 a try, they haven’t lasted 20+ years in Telluride by accident. We were greeted and seated right away and made good use of the creative cocktail menu. Service was excellent and the dining room was adorned with delightful art of local scenes. We found the food to be quite good and the outdoor patio is really nice. Unfortunately our server was very unenthusiastic so that took away from our meal experience.
What every new American restaurant in Colorado strives to be. This place is pure innovation in flavor. Such delicious variety. Portions were very decent. They have an omnivore menu, a vegetarian and vegan menus. I am not a vegetarian, but I highly recommend trying some of the dishes, as they were exquisite. The patio and indoor space is lovely as well. Close to the gondola and easy to access. Truly unique dining experience and one of the best restaurants in Telluride!
