Every time I have a need and that has been several since I begin with the credit union a couple months ago there is always someone at the Republic branch who responds with care and understanding and does the research to help me get a problem resolved. That is the type of interaction that I had today also. They were patient, kind and understanding and will work with me to resolve each issue.
Sadly 10 years ago it was a great bank but in the last year it has become deplorable. When I needed help with an issue the Republic branch just laughed and made it a joke. Thinking I needed a new branch the Battlefield Rd. Springfield manager outright lied to my face, complaining to corporate my letter was never answered. Talking to the credit manager I found him very unknowledgeable about banking and finance. Terrible incompetence, they screwed up a balance transfer to Bank of America and blamed it on me.
