I was recently away from home and experienced extremely high fever with no other symptoms. I decided to get a virtual consultation and reached out to Teladoc. Within less than 1 hour, I was connected to the local doctor who properly diagnosed me with potential Lyme disease, explained what I need to do next and shared his own experience in living in wooded areas. Everything was done very quickly and efficiently.
Do not use teladoc. Use other telemedicine services or just go to urgent care. They will bill you and tell you to go to urgent care without any real advice or assistance.
